Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Trailer maintains, repairs and overhauls commercial transport devices connected to or moved by a power unit. Maintenance and repair of transport devices may include flat decks, dry freight vans, refrigerated vans, tankers, converters, boosters, pole trailers, jeeps, steering dollies, dump trailers and any other commercial pull type devices. The ideal candidate will follow Commercial Trailer Inspection Guidelines, converse with drivers to troubleshoot equipment problems, reviews completed work orders for accuracy and parts accountability and is available for emergency after hours call outs.
As the chosen candidate you will be eager to learn alignments and framework, as well, you must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and enjoy taking a methodical approach to your work.
