Sterling Western Star Trucks Alberta Ltd is looking for the following skills and requirements in experienced, qualified Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics for our Calgary and Red Deer locations:
-Must have proven experience in general maintenance and repair, transmissions, diagnostics, and suspension, including the specific following areas:
- Servicing of heavy trucks and trailers
- Gear work, transmissions, differentials
- Suspension repairs including: king pins, shackle pins, bushings and wheel alignments
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- ABS
- Webasto and Espar installations
- 5th Wheel over hauls and replacement
- Cab interior and trim work
- CVIP's
-Must be a licensed Journeyman qualified to work in Alberta, or inter-provincially.
-Class 3 license required.
-Must have own tools.
-Engine Certifications are a definite asset.
-Applicants must be physically fit in order to meet the heavy physical demands of the position.
